November 12 2008 - SNAKES & ARROWS LIVE IN HOLLAND DVD

The long-awaited live DVD filmed at the Ahoy in Rotterdam, Holland, is finally set for release on November 25th, 2008.

May 12 2008 - John Rutsey Passes Away At Age 55

From the official obituary in the Toronto Star:

RUTSEY, John Howard. It is with deep sadness that John's family announces his untimely passing due to complications from his lifelong affliction with diabetes, at age 55. Donations may be made in John's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 7100 Woodbine Avenue, Suite 311, Markham, ON, L3R 5J2.

John Rutsey was Rush's first drummer, forming the band with Alex Lifeson and Jeff Jones way back in 1968. John also played on the very first Rush album, but left shortly afterwards citing health issues and creative differences. Our heartfelt wishes and condolences to John's family and friends from rushinoz.com and all Rush fans in Australia.

January 18 2008 - SNAKES & ARROWS LIVE TOUR - 2008 DATES RELEASED

Rush.com has posted the 2008 tour dates. As we suspected, no mention of an Asian or Australian leg and still no details of any South American dates.

December 13 2007 - 2008 TOUR CONFIRMED

With the official confirmation of a 2008 tour this month from rush.com, we all eagerly await the announcement of the actual dates and venues, due early January 2008. Whilst South America is likely to be included there's been no mention of an Asian or Australian leg.

November 11 2007 - 2008 TOUR RUMOURS

Various sites and forums are abuzz with rumours of the 2008 leg of the Snakes & Arrows tour. Alex Lifeson has also alluded to new dates in 2008 - perhaps as many as 48, including South America. No mention of Asia or Australia though at this stage, so I wouldn't hold my breath! An official announcement is expected in January 2008.

October 15 2007 - ROTTERDAM CONCERTS TO BE FILMED FOR LIVE DVD

Anthem Entertainment Group have confirmed in a recent email newsletter that RUSH will be filming a LIVE concert DVD in Rotterdam October 16th and 17th 2007!

RUSHINOZ.COM recently visited Rotterdam and the Ahoy Stadium but unfortunately were not able to coincide the visit with the forthcoming concerts.
